I’m a little late with this one…shoot! Oh well, there’s always next year…

motorcycle-shop

I posted the motor cycle the other day, but hubby and Stinky are convinced that the addition of motorcycle shop will make this one “sell like hotcakes.”

And that’s all for now…hubby just walked in after being gone since LAST FRIDAY, 14 holiday parties and volunteer activities at school, basketball practice, a ka-gillion baths, and bedtime stories, packed lunches, morning battles, carpools and more cooking than I’ve done all year. THANK YOU GOD!!!!

And woo-hoo! It’s holiday time!

and finally…MOI. ha.Wrinkles and all (don’t get me started). I had to do a “portrait” for something, so I figured I’d post for my dear mother who will TELL me it’s a nice picture even when it’s not.

me

Speaking of wrinkles…I haven’t had time to gather together the great finds of 2008 like I said I would, but I will tell you about this one (although most of you are so flippin’ young, this won’t be something you break your neck to go buy). Green Cream. A guy I went to college with sells this stuff. Do wha?

Okay, his mom invented it. She’s some big-time, well-known dermatologist, and she came up with this miracle cream. It has retinol in it but you don’t have to have a prescription. It is really good stuff. I have tried lots of things and this one makes a difference…you will thank me for this one, I promise.

green-cream

Green Cream is an advanced retinol treatment for all skin types. Founded by Dr. Nia Terezakis, a dermatologist with more than 30 years’ experience, Green Cream uses retinol, a stabilized form of vitamin A that is universally thought to be one the anti-aging ingredients with the most promise. Retinol speeds the skin’s natural exfoliation process: a new layer of skin is usually produced every 35 days. Retinol shortens that to 5 or 6 days, giving your skin a continually brighter, smoother appearance. Green Cream comes in three strengths, ideal for conditioning your skin to the effects of retinol. Most skin types can start at Level 6 (the middle strength), and progress to Level 9 after three to six months of use. Sensitive skin types will want to start at Level 3. With Green Cream, you’ll see improved tone and texture with tighter skin, diminished lines, tighter pores and an overall rejuvenated appearance.

You can get it lots of places (google it) but here’s one if you gotta have it NOW.

Happy Exfoliating!

New Product: Insulated Lunch Totes! December 12, 2008

Yay! I am soooo excited. A couple of years ago, I introduced “lunch boxes” to the site–and they were super cute (at least I thought so), but sadly, I could never quite fugure out the best way to produce the lable for them. Plus, they probally weren’t all that suited to be lunch boxes, made of some sort of cardboard I think–anyway, we use one of ours as a crayon carrier and another for doll clothes, which is just great. But that didn’t solve my lunch box dilemma.

lunchbox_web1Ever since then I have been on the hunt for a product that would work for Kat in the Hat…something of great quality that I could produce and I think this is it! It’s made of that same material that cloth coolers are all made of, has heavy duty webbed handles and a zippered interior. The inside has an insulated foil lining and the outside has a pocket. It comes in lots of great colors, and any artwork from my site can be added! (colors: bright yellow, hot pink, kelly green, lavender, orange, red, khaki, and light blue). They are insulated, big enough to hold a 6-pack and serve as a cooler for the pool or beach (they have a gusseted bottom). They are soft and smushy so they fit easily into back packs without poking anyone in the back :) 9″ x 7 1/2″ x 5″ and reasonably priced at $32.50

New Designs! December 10, 2008

Actually most of these have been sitting on my computer desktop for months but I haven’t had time to post them! I have also added most of them to the site now too.

artist

I have always offered this little artist for my art aprons–for whatever reason, it never occurred to me to offer it on a tee. Duh.

baseball

The baseball came to be because my customers son plays for the Minnesota Twins. He just had a new baby girl, so she asked me to do this.

basketball

so that prompted a basketball…

football

a football…

soccer-ball

and of course, a soccer ball.

chocolate-moose

Chocolate Moose. Ha.

horse_head

a new horse, since my neices have all the other ones and I needed a new gift idea for them (they are horse obsessed).motor-cycle

a motor cycle because Stinky has been bugging me for one for AGES.

and a couple more monogram, name options…

pink-leopardsquare-and-sideways

I have a new hockey skate somewhere too…by request…will dig up and post later. Now I MUST quit procrastinating (I am getting SO good at that) and go to “the factory” and crank out some tees. Happy Hump Day!

HOLY TAMOLY BATMAN!!! December 3, 2008

I am giddy. I just got the coolest order. BRAD PITT. haha. That got your attention, didn’t it? Well, only kidding. But AL ROCHER…yes, it’s true! It’s his email address, but the email was written by his wife, Deborah Roberts who is also FAMOUS. Yes, I am a BIG DORK.

Ok. So now that I’ve been totally obnoxious, I’ll continue with my new trend of procrastination, and catch you up (plus, SOMEONE has been HARRASING me about not updating my blog….MOM).

Let’s see. I did a big show in Birmingham recently so I am filling orders at all hours. It was tons of work, but also so great to be “home”. I saw a million old friends, and cherished every second. Here are pics from the show.

Here are the PJs I mentioned a while back. I still haven’t gotten them to the site…if you happen to see them here, and want more info, just email me. They are 100% organic cotton–really yummy and soft. They come in the red stripe in larger sizes, and pink and blue stripes in infant sizes.
pjs

It’s the “Where are the PJs” game….sorry, I have no time…the other colors are on the shelves…I’ll take a better pic ONE DAY.

bluepink

These are a couple of my new screen printed designs…I am doing a bunch of retail with this new line, so look for us in your local kids and maternity shops!
screenprint

I am doing some freelance writing for City View, and some of the pics I took at the wedding made it into the wedding album!! I am very excited about that and plan to work with the photographer I mentioned a while back in 2009. We have just wrapped up a great year of shows…thank you hostesses! You are the GREATEST. I can’t wait to see what you do in ‘09!

We spent Thanksgiving in Charleston….really a fun trip. My nephews are AWESOME. They taught me how to make videos on the Mac and tweak them to do hilariously fun stuff. I am DANGEROUS. If you see someone who LOOKS like me on youtube doing anything remotely obnoxious, it is NOT ME. (Geez, mom, NO, there are currently no videos of me on youtube. CHILL.)

We have our tree up and my cards are out (SHOCKER. But I did them ages ago, while I was working on my new card line, so I can’t really brag about that.) Still some shopping to do…but I am determined to make it fun instead of stressed and rushed.

Hubby’s parental units are coming for Christmas. Their FIRST at our house, ever (they live in New Hampshire). We are really excited to have them. (Plus, his mom RULES in the kitchen :)

Finally, check out this model-icious babe. Lovely, she isn’t she? I won’t say who she is, for fear of making her neck turn red but she’s mighty special. The backdrop is my brother’s GORGEOUS magazine-ready home.

mom

Ok. I seriously have to get to the grind. But you are officially caught up, and it may be the last time until the new year when I vow to get organized again, post what needs to get posted, make updates to the site, plan the year ahead etc. etc. Wait, you know what, if I have time, I want to share some awesome products that I have discovered this year that would make awesome gifts and stocking stuffers. Stay tuned.

One day at a time, one day at a time…

Happy Holidays!!!!!
