These are from calling card designs but they make fun tees…

It’s a jungle out there!

This one is brand spankin’ new and great on a fresh white or lime tee for summer…

And one for Valentine’s Day!

C’s room is pale, pale blue and it gives a serene blue cast to photos…
not to mention the obvious…it enhances my girls baby blues.

Miss Karen, aka Santa’s Helper is my dear friend. But my kids have claimed her as their own.”Miss Karen Rocks”…I hear this daily. The other night Miss K showed up in her 70’s- something pea green Dodge Ram, nicknamed Sweet Pea…her pride and joy…complete with a serious sound system and a “bikini top”, meaning it comes off in summer. Decked out in lights both inside and out, and blaring Christmas tunes, from Elvis no less…we loaded up. Santa hats miraculously appeared for all to wear, and off we went. After dinner, the kids were treated to hot chocolate (with ice cubes and straws of course) and we were taken on a tour de lights. A memory not soon to be forgotten. Thanks Miss K. We love you.
Talk about a long time coming…that would be this announcement. Note the date! The original design was only an announcement–completely different from this…but Anne-Claire’s mom couldn’t get around to taking a photo so it morphed into a holiday/announcement card. I volunteered to take the pic myself to speed things along, but then both kids got sick and that plan fell by the wayside. So finally a picture showed up in my inbox, and we have a card to send out BEFORE Christmas, and before (barely) Anne-Claire graduates from high school. Ha. Kidding Heather. Such sweet babies…and
truly the greatest gift of all.
(When I trimmed these, I rounded the corners…makes it look more finished.)

It’s a darn good feeling. I thought I may grow old (okay, older) saying…I wish I had really done that…I always said I would and yet I didn’t. BUT I DID. I illustrated a real, true live children’s book AND it was published. It’s a happy day. And it whets my appetite for more, because now I know that dreams really can come true–cliche as that sounds. The book will be sold at Blackberry Farms….not sure what the price is yet, but if you happen to purchase a copy, I will HAPPILY sign it for you.

I’ve had this tee design in my noggin for a long time…finally, FINALLY got it on paper. I have a bunch of new ones but I’m giving myself a website break–uploading them to the site is a PAIN to say the least. Maybe over the holidays I’ll at least get them here. To mom, travel safely. We love you–can’t wait to see you!
Here, a couple more from the vault…gift enclosure designs from way back, adapted into tees.

Mac n Cheese rules at our house. As evidenced here…ah, the chewy, cheesy, goodness!

has gone on to dwell in doggy heaven, but now he’s forever immortalized in living color. And lot’s of it.
It’s all or nothing with this one…either he’s smiling so hard you can see his molars or he looks like someone just killed his best friend. I guess beggars can’t be choosers though…there probably aren’t many 7 yr. old’s who would endure mom’s endless “model” requests. These are two of my new Spring designs, which he has deemed “cool enough” so hopefully other rascally boys will agree. I have yet to figure out how to make the flash do what I want it to…it’s pretty hit or miss. Anyway, if you see this one, be sure and give him your condolences…he suffers greatly as “marketing manager, model and muse” for Kat in the Hat Designs.
